  I went to this dentist office to have a teeth cleaning and splint made. Prior to my appointment I repeatedly asking the office to verify what my insurance company would and would not cover. When I arrived at the office I again asked if they had verified coverage with my insurance to which they said they had not, the dentist personally insured me that if the splint wasn't covered, he would be sure "I was taken care of". Two weeks later I received a bill for almost $400 for the cost of the splint. After calling the office to inquire about the bill, I was told by one of the terribly rude receptionists, "We're not in business to give things away." The doctor refused to speak to me and the receptionist claimed Hamblin told her that he hadn't said anything like that to me. In hindsight, I realize I shouldn't have got the work done without knowing it would be covered, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that a health care provider be honest with their patients.

  Called ahead of time to make sure they would have nitris/o2 - they assured me they would. Morning of appointment they had me wait around for 2 hours before they realized they were out. I'm sure he's a good dentist - but it seemed a little "auto pilot" to make empty promises like that.
